Welcome to the Facilities Maintenance page.  Our mission is to ensure the buildings and grounds are safe, functioning properly, clean, and attractive for a pleasant learning environment for the students and staff of Lexington Count School District Two.

 

Office Hours - Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Summer Hours - Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

As required by the AHERA standard, all District Facilities have been surveyed for asbestos containing building materials (ACBM). A management plan for each facility containing ACBM’s has been developed and maintained according to federal regulations. Copies of the management plan are available for review in each school location and the Facilities Management Office. ACBM’s in the District pose no threat to building occupants. Six month periodic surveillance and three year re-inspections are performed according to regulations to monitor the physical state of the identified ACBM. Any changes are noted and appropriate corrective measures are taken as needed.
