WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two has released its 2018-19 academic calendar.
The calendar designates the first day for students as Monday, August 20. Current state law requires that no South Carolina public school start classes before the third Monday in August.
The final day of classes for students will be a half-day on Friday, May 31, 2019.
The new calendar also designates a roughly two-week winter break, week-long spring break, and three weather makeup days as required by state law. There also is a day off on Tuesday, November 6, for elections.
