Weather make-up days on Feb. 17, March 17 will be in-person

The following letter was sent to families and staff on January 13, 2025:

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- By law, every South Carolina school district must designate three weather make-up days in its annual calendar in the event of missed instructional time.

So far this year, Lexington Two has missed three instructional days due to weather. The first was made up on October 14 as an eLearning day for students. As previously communicated,  we are planning in-person instruction to make up the other two missed days. These days are scheduled for Monday, February 17 and Monday, March 17, and they will operate on normal school day schedules.

Given that we still have several months remaining in the school year, there is certainly a possibility that inclement/unsafe weather conditions could result in additional missed time. Should this occur, we will work with our Board of Trustees and communicate plans with you.

If you have any questions, please talk with your school administrator.

Thank you.
