The public review process plays an important role in selecting instructional materials that reflect the highest standards and meet the needs of South Carolina students. By involving parents, educators, and community members, we ensure that every voice contributes to this decision-making process.

Key dates and details

• Public Review Period: November 18, 2024, to January 3, 2025.
• Virtual Access: Publisher-provided links for virtual reviews are available through the SC Department of Education’s website.
• Review Locations: Materials are available for in-person review at seven locations across the state:

Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC

Coker University, Hartsville, SC

Columbia College, Columbia, SC

Columbia International University, Columbia, SC

Converse University, Spartanburg, SC

Horry Georgetown Technical College, Conway, SC

Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC
